Before training in Filipino Martial Arts, Master Lal was exposed to various other arts. As a child, he soon found that these arts did not offer the excitement that he was looking for. It was at this time that he met a master in Filipino Martial Arts. Master Lal formally began his training in Filipino Martial Arts in 1986 under the tutelage of Senior Master Vicente Ferrer. In Filipino Martial Arts, he found a system that integrated all aspects of martial arts!
Caroline started training Filipino Martial Arts with Master Lal in 2003. Having never practiced martial arts before, she enjoyed the diversity of training that was taught to her.
As a mother of 4 children, Caroline is always busy and on her feet. The practice not only provides good physical activity and increases her stamina, but also allows her to spend quality time with her husband and 4 children!
Sarah has been training with Master Lal since 2003. Through Filipino Martial Arts, she was introduced to a newer, more fun way of exercising! As a student, she is always sitting in class and not getting much physical activity. Martial arts has allowed her to stretch and become more physically fit.
Leah has been training with Master Lal since 2003. She has been practicing ever since she can remember.
She has always done sports such as running, soccer and volleyball. Through martial arts she has developed the ability to focus and have more courage and self-confidence. Her favorite thing about training in Filipino Martial Arts, is being able to progress and spend time with her family.
